"Dancer in the Dark" is a dramatic black and white piece that features a striking ballerina illuminated by a spotlight. This piece was heavily inspired by the NYC Dance Project's photos of professional ballet dancer, Liudmila Konovalova. I would say my undying love for ballet films such as Black Swan and Barbie in the Nutcracker also played a huge role in the brainstorming process for this theme. The title of the piece is taken from one of my favorite Chase Atlantic songs, "Dancer in the Dark".
